I like these oils on my lips. They donât stay long but they do give color. Same price I pay for lipsticks and donât have junk in them. Like the colors. I have a few. Iâd purchase again.

I wonder if I truly received a RMS product. It looked legitimate upon opening package, but after I apply the gloss it doesnât last long at all before I am having to reapply! Bummer! I am used to RMS makeup lasting for long periods of timeâ¦this was a disappointment.

I bought this in Milla about two weeks ago. I love the color, and it’s comfortable to wear, but unfortunately, I believe it’s drying out my lips. They’ve become significantly drier since I started using it, and it’s the only new lip product I’ve been using.I love rms beauty, but this lip oil let me down.

Lovely, light lip oil with a frustrating application result
I am reviewing RMS Beautyâs Legendary Lip Oil in the color Lucia, which is described as a sweet buttercream pink. Iâm fair skinned, maturing, and wear soft glam makeup looks. Light, glossy, pinkish lips look best on me. Lucia is my kind of color.First Impressions: Beautiful, minimalistic but luxurious tube. The matte pink silicone shell hints at the color inside and feels good in the hand. Smells soft and sensuous â a bit like vanilla candles.Look and Feel: The color as seen on the large doe foot applicator looks like a pretty blush pink. The application was a little disappointing though. I was expecting thick glossy shine as shown on the model photos. What I got was a barely there result on par with a tinted lip balm. I applied a 2nd coat and it was a little better, but the result was still a dud. Why?I looked closely in an LED makeup mirror to see what was going on. It was an applicator fail. Firstly, there is almost no product on the side of the doe foot. You have to first dab the droplet of oil that is on the tip onto your lips. I did that and tried to spread the product using the sides as intended, but the applicator was removing more product than it was laying down. THAT is why this lip oil isnât very glossy or giving much color pay off. The applicator gives, but then the applicator also takes away. It could also be the inner ring that scrapes the excess product off the doe foot. Iâm not precisely sure, but itâs definitely not a quality issue with the oil itself which is great.Final Thoughts: I think this would be a 5-star product for me, but to get the most beautiful result it requires a brush which brings it down to 4 stars for me. Still very good, but not reaching its full potential.
