Perfect Solution for Odor-Free Composting
I recently purchased the 6 Pack Charcoal Filters for my countertop compost bin, and I couldnât be happier with the results! These 6.7-inch activated carbon filters fit perfectly in my compost bucket and have made a world of difference in keeping my kitchen odor-free.The activated carbon does an excellent job of neutralizing unpleasant smells, making composting a much more pleasant experience. The round filters are just the right size for my compost bin, and they stay securely in place. Each filter lasts for several weeks, even with daily use, which is fantastic for a busy household. Makes my old can new again
I have an old compost can that sits on my counter. Love it but haven’t replaced the filters since I’ve owned it (several years). I ordered these and, while they are too big, trim down perfectly and easily to fit into my lid. I tripled them up but may revert to just two. With this package, I have some to spare. Works great and helps keep little insects out too.

These filters are big for the lid, I had to cut them to size. There are no filters for the bucket’s filter size of 5.7 inches,

Seem to work so far
These seem to be working so far to reduce the smell coming from my garbage can. The filters that came with a new can earlier this year must have stopped working because it was starting to stink and cleaning the can would only work for a few days. I realized it was the filters; so this time I cleaned the can AND replaced the filters and that seems to be the magic solution, so I’d say these are working.

These filters are half the thickness of usual ones so I’ll need to use two of them each time. What a rip off.

Essential for Composting
Iâve been using a compost bin in my kitchen, and it can definitely get smelly without a good filter. These charcoal filters do a great job of absorbing odors and have made a noticeable difference in keeping things fresh.They are a bit larger than what fits in my compost bin, but I easily cut them into quarters, and they fit perfectly in the filter slot. It’s a simple fix.While the recommendation is to replace the filter every 2-3 months, I prefer to change mine monthly, just like my sink sponge. It helps keep everything clean and pleasant in my kitchen.

Charcoal filter that you can use other places.
These filter are designed to use in a compost bucket. I am going to make a terrarium, and I thought they would be perfect to use as a substrate.. The pack comes with six, cut in a large circle.. My glass container is just a smidge too small, no worries, I am going to trim it with scissors.. I think these will be perfect.. I can’t wait to get the pebbles and the plants. If you have a compost bucket that is great, but I think these will be useful in many ways, overall, I am thrilled with these.
