Village vs Yankee- My new brand will be Village
I had bought Yankee Candles for 20 years plus and Macintosh was my favorite scent. The Crisp Apple not only smells the same, the double wick helps burn better and the lower price is definitely a plus. I have noticed that in the last few years the Yankee candles seems to lose some of it’s scent way before the large jar candle is gone.

WONDERFUL CANDLES!
Unlike another major brand, Village Candles have no odd extra smells. I’m not sure how else to express it – my allergies just don’t get triggered by these candles. This apple candle smells like apples, period. It’s lovely and fresh with no funky co-smells. Further, they last for EVER. Highly recommended!

Ich bin ein grosses Fan von Apfeldüfte und habe verschieden Kerzen in dieser Duftrichtung ausprobiert. Leider hat sich diese Village Candle Kerze als Enttäuschung entpuppt. Es riecht überhaupt nicht nach Apfel, sondern nach ein weiches unbestimmtes fruchtiges Duft. Dies war mein erstes und letztes Produkt von Village Candle. 3 Sterne trotzdem weil die Kerze sehr sauber abbrennt und richtig Duft abgibt.
