Perfect for me!
Lot of detail 🙂 Attractive and perfect size for serving tray use. I keep this at my elbow while working to freshen my cup.PROS: Pretty much everything is perfect about this little carafe. Product design gets my attention where cleanliness is concerned. When something is great looking my next examination goes to how easily I can clean it. This carafe has zero flaws where that is concerned. It keeps hot liquids hot with a perfectly cool exterior. The lid and shoulder plastic does warm up but doesn’t get hot. The shape of it makes it very difficult to tip over. It has the typical double seal in the lid which in the past has proven to never leak, even after a couple of years use (I experienced this through a different product with the exact same style seals).CONS: To open/close this carafe you might accidentally exert too much pressure on the lever that lets out the liquid. I sort of press my thumb at the side of the lever where it attaches to the lid. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying it’s flimsy at all. It’s quite sturdy, I’m just saying, try it out so that your lever stays in good shape. Still gave this little guy five stars because the lever is almost a non-issue if you’ve ever owned a product with similar stying.OTHER: Don’t over-tighten*. I have only used this for hot or iced water so can’t comment on stains**. I haven’t dropped this carafe or put it in a dishwasher so can’t comment on that either.*The lever and handle will be aligned when the lid is at the correct position to seal. Particularly with hot liquids, over-tightening will cause you to shove the lever sideways to get it open. The lid is too smooth/low profile for me to exert enough pressure (small hands, slight arthritis) to get it open if someone has over-tightened the lid.**I prefer to use a carafe like this only for water although I have used other types for tea/coffee/cocoa. Unless you have TINY hands, you will need a scrubber with a handle to get inside comfortably. The only seam inside the carafe is easily accessible directly under the threaded part of the plastic neck.

Tested the temperature after several hours – read on!
I like this carafe! Keeps coffee hot for hours. After reading a bunch of reviews here, on different products, I wasnât sure if this one would be a clear winner. Decided to order it and test it out to be sure.First, I am grateful for several of the reviews where people suggest to release the pressure a little bit by pressing the trigger slowly before trying to pour hot coffee or liquid. That totally works!Second, I am thoroughly happy with this carafe. I purchased it to be able to keep fresh brewed coffee hot during a long brunch event for a bridal shower. We also have other events coming up where we are hosting people at our house. I wanted something that would keep the coffee hot but also looked really nice. In my opinion, this carafe is exactly what I need for both purposes.Iâm a little bit of a geek and I have a science background, so instead of just winging it, I tested the carafe contents with a Thermopop kitchen thermometer over a series of hours. Here is what I found:Test A: preheated carafe- I filled the room-temp (68 degrees) empty carafe with 205° hot water for 10 minutes. Emptied it and refilled with fresh 205° hot water to within 3/4â of the top (also a suggestion from reviewers). Results?- At 2 hours: 192°- At 3 hours: 184°- At 12 hours: 153°Experience: while the liquid lost about 20° at three hours, the coffee was still pleasantly hot enough to drink. Even at 12 hours, it was steamy after opening the carafe.Test B: no preheatThe following day, I tried the same test without preheating the carafe with hot water. The results were a lot of only about 2° different from the preheat results. That wasnât significant enough for me to want to bother to preheat it for daily use.Of course, the coffee that comes out of our coffee maker is around 181° at the start, so there will be more temperature loss with coffee than with the water I tested. But when we used it with coffee at the event, it was definitely still hot enough to drink at the end.Thatâs all I need. Itâs a keeper.

Perfect For Me
This little carafe works perfectly for me. It is just the right size to hold several extra cups of freshly brewed coffee. It does cool off over the day, but the first pour is just as hot as my first brewed cup, and even after 6 or 7 hours, what is left is warm enough to enjoy. This carafe cleans easily and shines like new by simply wiping off any water drops with a paper towel.

Perfect for parties or everyday use
I come from a family of coffee drinkers so having a carafe is essential for parties. But honestly I use mine daily so there is decaf and regular coffee in our home. Sleek stainless steel design. Handle feels solid. Easy push button pouring lid. Keeps liquids hot and cold for hours. Easy to clean. Price was cost savings because of a coupon offered. The price ended up being lower than most other brands on amazon. I would recommend this carafe to anyone. If I had to be picky, it would be there is no rubber on the bottom so it can slide on the counter if not full of liquid. But if it does tip over, nothing comes out. I think this is a great product!

Good price, decent carafe
This carafe is decent for the price. It’s not insulated, so the coffee doesn’t stay warm quite long enough. It’s pretty easy to clean and nice looking. It came with a pretty cool cleaning sponge, which was nice. I typically drink my coffee in the span of about 2-3 hours and it’s still relatively hot, but anything past that is pushing it. One thing i love about it- it does NOT leak!!

We love this thermal carafe. It is the perfect size not too big like some of them out there. All stainless body (no glass), pours nicely, looks great, and most of all it keeps water hot- enough for tea for quite a few hours. After about 10 hours we found it lost a little of its heat but the water is still hot enough for other non boiling water beverages ( hot chocolate, coffee – or warming up something.) We also have used it to top off basins of hot water for washing at the cottage. I highly recommend this carafe. Have had others that leaked at lid and did not keep water hot at all. A good buy and the enclosed bonus cleaning brush is cool.

Keeps the coffee hot for a good amount of time very convenient

It holds coffee hot for several hours. It holds more than 12 cups of coffee. Perfect for us!

Had the carafe for a couple of weeks now and like it. Bought it to replace one that dripped every time you poured from it. This doesn’t! Keeps liquids warm several hours. Hot water overnight is warm in the morning. Coffee 3.5 hrs after making is warm, not hot, but drinkable without microwaving. Like the stubby look. Brush is an extra, but nothing special.Update 2 months later – Bought mid-Jan, now mid-Apr and it doesn’t keep the coffee hot as originally did. Water doesn’t stay hot overnight. Coffee doesn’t stay hot for more than an hour or so. Must be a problem with the seal.

This was great when we first bought it but now, it doesnât keep the liquid hot at all. Within an hour, itâs cold. We use it indoors only as a tea carafe.Donât waste your money.
