Easy to Assemble for Hours of Fun
OK, so we bought this for my son a year ago for Hanukkah and it had been sitting in our garage for that entire time. I randomly decided yesterday to clean the playroom and assemble this on my own. First, big props to the folks at Melissa & Doug for such a thoughtful and easy-to-follow set of directions. The pieces are super well labeled and organized. The only tool you will need besides whatâs provided is a simple screw driver. I didnât feel like engaging my husband for help, so I used the little screw driver that comes with Ring cameras. Lazy, sure. But it worked. From start to finish with kids interrupting, it took my about an hour and a half to assemble. The components feel very durable, and my son could not wait to start playing. It looks very cute and has so many realistic features. My son is 5 and my daughter is 1.5, and it feels like a great toy for both ages.

Worth the buy!
It’s durable, and it looks as you see, and putting it together was easy. I did it all by myself. I bought fake money that looks real, so that doesn’t come with it. But it’s all nice. And you have to buy the food and other stuff separately. But if you are looking to buy, definitely do it. You don’t need fancy tools to put it together. Just need a screw driver, and it comes with the wrench that’s need needed. Recommend.

This little market is well made and realistic! My 3 year old granddaughter LOVES this toy. Directions for putting together were easy to follow but did take a few hours. Her favorite birthday gift!!

Quality Toy for Toddlers
This is an adorable and great quality play store! The directions for putting it together were easy to follow, and all of the holes lined up and all hardware was present. It is a great size as well to fit in a play area without taking up too much space. The scanner actually beeps which our kids love. I would recommend getting the accessory kit that comes with some boxed items, an apron, employee of the month sign, the little hanging organizer with gum, etc. I would highly recommend this!!

Overall amazing but one annoyance..
This is a really nice toy, as expected from Melissa and Doug. Assembly was very easy and fairly quick – about 2 hours. Instructions are clear and the entire thing is very sturdy. I did purchase the recommended extra kit which added all the items at check out, money, and some boxed and canned âfoods.â My daughter is going to love this on Christmas morning.I took off one star because the âfresh martâ sign on top didnât come framed as pictured on the box. I also noticed all the previous reviews had the sign in a sturdy frame that screws into the top. Mine was a flimsy sign that slides into a groove (see pic). To make matters worse, it didnât fit into the groove when I added the accessory kit. I had to cut around the corners in order to make it work. But itâs still flimsy and will undoubtedly end up on the floor and eventually in the trash. So I am disappointed because this is likely a cost cutting measure which was implemented poorly. They should also update the picture on the box because I spent a lot time going back through all the packaging to look for a frame that wasnât there.

got this on sale and it was an awesome purchase even full price. instructions were so easy and clear, took maybe an hour if that. i picked this over the others because of the working conveyor, calculator, scanner and signature pad. melissa&doug would crush it even more if they made it fully neutral or just other color options. Iâll eventually paint it because the green and red is an eye sore 𤪠but everything is good quality and in working order. my son will love this for years Iâm sure!

I brought box inside house. It took me about an hour & a half to build it myself other than needing my husband’s help with smashing pieces together to fit more securely. Instructions were 10/10 to follow. I missed a letter but that was on me. Otherwise i would have been done sooner. I only had one piece that came broken & that was letter k. Unlike the kitchen, this pretend play came really good. All the other pieces did not have any scratches or chips. I was really happy about that. I did also get the companion set to complete this mart. Do I think it’ll withstand a toddler? Time will tell. I do think I will have to supervise to make sure tot is not climbing nor laying the smackdown on the shelves. I did initially think this was tiny but after completing the build I think it’s a decent size. It’s not heavy enough where you can’t rearrange it to another area after a while. There’s lots of aspects that foster learning with this. My kiddo really likes his electronic scanner from another brand so we’ll see how young tot likes this one.

Bought this to go with my daughter’s toy kitchen, was skeptical about the price but it is the best quality!My first time buying a large Melissa and Doug product because I find the brand pricey, but you totally get what you pay for! Such great quality, I don’t have to worry about it breaking before she gets her play out of it!Instructions were clear and easy, took about 40 mins for me to put together. The toy food was purchased separately.Highly recommened!!(My daughter is 2.5 yrs, taller for her age)

Clairement elle vaut son prix, elle me paraît robuste, mes enfants son ravis, le tapis roule le Scan bip et clignote.Niveau montage, là encore la qualité est au rendez vous, les trous sont bien faits, tout est numéroté impossible de se tromper ( et pourtant je suis vraiment mauvaise en montage de meubles) j’y suis arrivée toute seule et rapidement, alors oui elle n’est pas donnée mais franchement c’est un achat que vous ne regretterez pas et qui durera dans le temps

Bought it for my daughter’s 5th Birthday.She absolutely loves it! Her and her little sister enjoy role playing, and have lots of fun playing “shops”.It’s very well made and quite sturdy. Fairly easy to set up (every part is numbered and follows the steps). The top sign didn’t quite go all the way, and I didn’t want to risk breaking it, but it still sits well.It has a small scribble “signature” pad, and the scanner beeps when you “scan” an item, which is pretty cool. You gotta roll the products yourself, but kids loved doing it.Doesn’t come with accessories, but there’s plenty out there 🙂 (I did get one set of the same brand to “complete the look”)Overall very satisfied with the product,and kids are loving it!!
